Andrea has been entrusted by several customers to implement embedded software applications. In most of those embedded software applications, Andrea has been using STMicroelectronics components. Today, thanks to these skills and the technical knowlege of the Protocol DLMS Cosem, ST Microelectronics and Andrea has signed a partnership to promote the protocol DLMS Cosem in the STM32 microcontroller.
Moreover and in order to reduce costs, the actual Smart Metering requirements are focusing in the Power Line Communications technology and utilities are adopting it as a reference.
ST Microelectronics has been working for several years in PLC and its chips ST7570, ST7580 and ST7590 have proved thier reliability.
In this context and as a complement, Andrea proposes a tested and entirely operational DLMS Cosem stack for the STM32 as well as the sofwtare to handle the ST microelectronics PLC chips.
Andrea also proposes services going from the cession of the stack, to the entire integration and test of the stack in the target client application. This implies a turn-key system with the DLMS Cosem profile and the required physical interfaces.
